What does one run away from, what does one fear?
What have I been running from all this time? What have I been afraid of? What can’t I explain even to myself? What is necessary for the liberation of my soul and mind? Under one question, there are dozens of question marks. What am I supposed to do? Surely there is a way out of here. What is it that you can’t even tell yourself, what are the fears, what are the fears, what are you running away from? If you find this out, your soul will be relieved, but you don’t know where to start, do you?
I don’t see myself in limbo, but I can’t stop the questions. At least I’ve reined this in. My expectations in life don’t need to be immediate because when the time comes, it will happen, it is happening, it has happened…
Note to self: Find what you are looking for…
I will tell a short story and close this for now.
The story of the Mexican cyclist:
A Mexican citizen arrives at the US border one day on a bicycle. The customs police search him and a bag of sand comes out of the saddle. There is no problem. The Mexican crosses the US border.
The next day he comes again on a bicycle and the Mexican is searched again. Only one bag of sand comes out of the saddle and he crosses the border again. On the 3rd day he comes again and this time the narcotics police are present. This time the narcotics police conducts a search. But again only a bag of sand comes out of the saddle. Weeks, months, even years pass in this process. Each time the Mexican crosses the border easily.
Years later, he comes across the same officer again.
The officer can’t stand it and asks. You crossed on a bicycle for years and only one bag of sand came out of the saddle each time. I’m retired now, I can’t do anything for you. Tell the truth, what were you taking or smuggling to America?
The Mexican answers.

So we are only looking at what we think we see.
We need to understand the difference between seeing and looking. That’s how to understand the difference between questions and answers.
