From the Promotional Bulletin:
I resemble the ruins of a city that longs for light. The hum goes away, the darkness goes away, my mother’s voice…

It was years ago, “breakfast is ready,” she said and left, leaving her voice to this world. I was left in the mouldy life of this world. I was like tea left at the bottom of a glass, cold and bitter. I was experiencing the broken pot in a conversation, the dystopian anxieties that appear in anxiety attacks, the desperation of a poet who searches for years for the word to be added to a poem. A word comes to my mind, and as I rush to pen and paper, words cling to the wing of a bird entering through the open window and fly away. My astonished gaze is caught on the swaying curtain. While my cathotonic state occupies the whole house, giganteuses sprinkle their mocking glances on me from dark spaces. A song plays on the radio, I switch it on; the funeral in the next flat comes to my mind, first the radio, then I shut up. I feed my fish in the aquarium with the crumbs left over from my dreams.

Am I the only one upset that my door mat is clean? I think about the sound of my doorbell for a moment, how was it? I open the door, step on my clean doormat and put my head against the bell. I can’t remember the last time I heard this sound…
