se had a little time.
to understand
to love
to make sense of it
to discover
to find
so little time so little

worked hard
leaves in the morning
she came out in the middle of the night.
she had a little time.
to love
to think
to listen to yourself
so little time so little

like feeling the rain
she wanted to feel the moment
the warm, fragrant rain
like you feel
but
she had a little time.
so little time so little

much work, little time
to put your foot to the soil
to watch the birds for a long time
to get bored of the sky
to dream of being rich
she had a little time.
so little time so little

the walls are dirty
black cabinet tops (zemheri)
clump of dust (a ball of dust) in places
oil stains on tiles (stains that won’t go away)
and the curtains, they’re full of dust.
she had a little time.
for cleaning
to make it pure
so little time so little

tired of thinking
less time
bored
exhausted
they poked him on a metrobus and he didn’t wake up.
they didn’t know
candy nuts along the way
and not only that, he did three laps on the subway.
our hatice’s gone from a diabetic coma.
time is very
time is short
