The third edition of WOW – Women’s World Festival Istanbul will take place on March 2-3, 2024 at Beykoz Kundura, one of Istanbul’s most important industrial heritage buildings, which shapes the city’s cultural and artistic life. The festival will be organized by the British Council in partnership with Beykoz Kundura and the UK-based WOW Foundation.
Participation in the festival is free of charge, registration is required.
WOW Festivals, which brings together culture and arts with civil society based on the power of art to bring unique perspectives, aims to encourage collaborations that celebrate women and girls and make visible the challenges they face. Focusing on building creative spaces based on inclusivity, the festival offers a unique platform for reflection and dialog.
Following the unique methodology of the WOW Foundation, WOW Istanbul will bring together creative communities and professionals working in the creative industries who are empowered by the positive impact of art on the perception of gender equality through conversation, workshops, performance, food, music and mentorship on a safe platform.
