The master writer of our socialist literature, Orhan Kemal, will be commemorated with a ceremony organized by the Orhan Kemal Family and Museum on the 55th anniversary of his passing. The ceremony will be held on Friday, May 30 at 10:30 in the Orhan Kemal Provincial Public Library Conference Hall.
At this meaningful ceremony, the 54th Orhan Kemal Novel Gift of 2025 will be presented to the valuable writer Ayşe Kulin, taking into account his “Last Novel and All His Works”.
The speeches to be made within the scope of the ceremony program are as follows:

- Nur Sürer: Acting in Orhan Kemal’s Work
- İnan Güney: Orhan Kemal in Beyoğlu
- Selçuk Erez: From Orhan Kemal to Ayşe Kulin
Ayşe Kulin will then give the award speech. The ceremony will be hosted by Mazlum Vesek.
