oiktoz academy‘s highly anticipated “Creative Acting Workshop” starts on Sunday, February 25th with master actor and trainer Cengiz Okuyucu. Register now for this experiential workshop, which will last 4 months (16 weeks) within the limited quota and will be given a “Creative Acting Workshop Participation Certificate” by oiktoz academy.
“Creative Acting Workshop” will be held every Sunday between 12:00 – 16:00 every week for 4 months at Istanbul Kadıköy Devridaim Institute. The instructor of the workshop will be Cengiz Okuyucu, a master actor and experienced instructor who has taken part in many theater plays and movies.
Quota is limited. The deadline for application is February 23, 2024. Recruitment will be made according to the order of application, so it is recommended that you register before the deadline. You can find the application form below.
Note: Not every applicant will be accepted directly to the workshop, they will be subjected to a preliminary interview. Participants’ expectations from the workshop, their motivation and wishes will affect their choice.

About “Creative Acting Workshop”
Month 1
It is aimed to teach the information that people who have stepped into acting for the first time or who have previously received training in various places should basically learn. It is the process in which people’s tendencies, perception styles and learning habits will be determined. After these characteristics are determined, the work will begin with theater texts that will be selected according to the person.
2nd Month
It is the part where tirades selected according to the person will be studied. It is aimed to analyze the text, character analysis, determination of the character’s emotions, expression of the determined emotions by the person, determination of the physical condition of the character and studies on diction in this process.
3rd and 4th Month
In line with the tirades studied, a play suitable for the cast is selected. The roles in the play are distributed according to the cast. The 2nd month is a very important process in terms of practicing and reinforcing the knowledge learned during the month. In this process, it is explained that different forms of acting such as acting in front of the camera and theater acting differ only in technical matters and what these differences are.
During and at the end of this last 2-month period, we will both benefit in terms of putting into practice what we have learned during the training and we will have the opportunity to gain experience on stage and in front of the audience. Instructor Cengiz Okuyucu
He was born on October 2, 1979 in Istanbul. He started his acting career in Zeytinburnu during his high school years and continued his acting career by graduating from Müjdat Gezen Art Center Conservatory Theater Department. The actor, who worked in the plays Gözlerimi Kaparım Vazifemi Yaparım, Klakson Borazanlar ve Bırtları, Çıkmaz Sokak Çocukları, Sırça Hayvan Koleksiyonu, Kahraman Bakkal Süpermarkete Karşı, Kaç Baba Kaç, Dear Doctor and Yedi Kocalı Hürmüz, has also taken part in many productions in the television and cinema sector. In addition to the movies Zeynep’s Eight Days, Beginner, Leblebi Tozu, Yapışık Kardeşler, she also took part in the TV series Cennet Mahallesi, Sakarya Fırat, Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem, Çarpışma, Kırmızı Oda, Evlilik Hakkında Her Şey and Son Yaz. The actor, who has been successfully continuing his career as an instructor for many years, has trained countless actors for the sector and conservatories.
