The 12-episode series, which was broadcast on Puhutv with Hakan Günday’s script and Onur Saylak’s direction, received great acclaim. Haluk Bilginer’s performance won the award for Best Performance by an Actor at the 47th International Emmy Awards, which brought the series worldwide fame and even led to foreign adaptations.
When Disney+ canceled all local projects, the future of “Şahsiyet” became uncertain. However, there is finally good news for those eagerly awaiting the new season: “Şahsiyet” will be offered to viewers on the GAIN platform with its 2nd season.
Haluk Bilginer and Cansu Dere were joined in the first season by Metin Akdülger, Şebnem Bozoklu and Hüseyin Avni Danyal. The cast of the first season also included Necip Memili, Şenay Gürler, Ayhan Kavas, İbrahim Selim, Fırat Topkorur, Müjde Ar, Hümeyra and Alper Atak.
In the new season, Haluk Bilginer returned as Agah Beyoğlu, while new actors such as İlker Aksum, Nergis Öztürk, Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan and Recep Usta joined the cast. Şebnem Bozoklu will also continue her role from the first season.
