Applications for the 2025 term of the NKT Playwriting Program, organized by Nilüfer Kent Theater to add new works to the local theater repertoire, started on April 30 and will continue until June 6.
Nilüfer Kent Theater (NKT) announced the new term of the NKT Playwriting Program, which it started in 2022 to add new writers and qualified works to Turkish theater. Applications for the program, organized to support theater writing and ensure that contemporary ideas are brought to the stage, started on April 30 and will continue until June 6.
Candidates to be accepted to the program will be determined by the Playwriting Program Selection Committee consisting of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Arıcı, Assist. Prof. Pınar Arık, Cengiz Bozkurt, Y. Emir Çiçek and Kazım Güçlü. The preliminary selection results will be announced on August 25.
Writers selected for the program will participate in the workshop process to be held between September 1, 2025 and February 27, 2026.
