Conditions of Participation:
- Participation will be provided via yaraticiyazarlik5353@gmail.com e-mail address. The applied work must be prepared in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, the Basic Law on National Education and the general objectives of Turkish National Education, in a way that does not contradict the principles, principles and objectives specified in the relevant legal regulations. Works that are not prepared in this way will not be evaluated
- BYF and ÖYG (5-6-7-8th grade students) students enrolled in Science and Art Centers can participate.
- Disability status does not constitute a disadvantage for students to participate in the competition. In case a disabled student wins an award, necessary measures will be taken for his/her participation in the award ceremony.
- Each student can participate with more than one work.
- Advisor teachers can advise more than one student.
- The works should be sent after the approval of the work review commissions to be established within the participating BİLSEMs.
- Texts cannot contain expressions and contents that will lead to actions defined as crimes in the law.
- The texts cannot contain expressions or judgments that discriminate based on language, race, gender, political opinion, religion, sect and similar reasons.
- Legal rights and responsibilities regarding the use of the names of private and legal persons in the content of the work belong to the participant.
- The stories cannot include subjects or contents that may have a negative impact on the psychological, emotional and physical development of students.
- The copyright of the works belongs to the author of the work, and all works, whether they are ranked or not, can be used in the activities carried out by the Ministry of National Education with the permission of the author.
- Participation in the contest is free of charge and voluntary
- Texts should be written in Times New Roman font, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, in A4 size Word file.
- Students should submit the original text and bibliography of the legend they have read or listened to as an attachment with the story they have written.
- Students’ starting point should be legends. Students’ fiction should be based on the legend. The legend should be a source of inspiration for the student.
- The fiction should be originalized with the student’s own interpretation and a fantastic framework. Heroes can be added or subtracted. The tools used by the heroes can be changed. The place can be diversified. The whole legend does not have to be used. The desired part can be taken (place, conflict, hero or heroes, etc.)
- The work applied to the contest must not have participated in any contest before, must not have received an award and must not have been published anywhere.
