First Trailer of “The Witch” Based on Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar Released

Inspired by Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar’s novel of the same name, the first teaser and poster of the movie “The Witch” (Cadı) have been shared. “The Witch”, a psychological thriller with a layered story and many themes, will be released in theaters on April 26th.

The film tells the story of Fikriye, a young widow in the decadent days of the Ottoman Empire, who tries to solve the mystery behind the witch rumors about Naşit Nefi Efendi and the mansion he lives in.

The cast of “The Witch”, in which Furkan Andıç plays Naşit Nefi Efendi and Buse Meral plays Fikriye, includes successful actors such as Çağdaş Onur Öztürk, Süreyya Kilimci, Elif Ürse, Manolya Maya, Hüseyin Soyaslan, Cengiz Orhonlu, Dilara Duman, Yağız Ata Dinçer, Ekin Pasvanoğlu and Nur Sürer, one of the masters of Turkish Cinema.

Written and directed by Erman Bostan and produced by WOW STUDIOS, the movie’s music is composed by Ercüment Orkut, Cem Tuncer and Sabina Khujaeva.

With its high psychological tension and gripping story, “The Witch” will be in theaters on April 26th with the distribution of A90 Pictures!
