The 2nd Turgut Uyar Poetry Award organized by Femtrak can be submitted to poetry books published in 2024. In order to participate, the books must be published under the author’s name and each candidate must apply with only one book. The last application date is July 31, 2025. The subject of the competition is open. Applications for the 2025 Writer of the Year Rıfat Ilgaz Story Award Begin

The “Author of the Year” events organized by the Nilüfer Municipality every year in memory of a writer are being dedicated to Rıfat Ilgaz, one of the master writers of Turkish literature, this year.

A short story competition is also being organized as part of the event for the 2025 Writer of the Year Rıfat Ilgaz Story Award. Applications for the competition, which will contribute to the discovery of new talents, will begin on June 16, 2025. The last application date is August 29, 2025.
