Applications for the Yaşar Nabi Nayır Youth Awards, organized every year in the name of Yaşar Nabi Nayır, the founder of Varlık magazine and its publications, are now open.
The deadline for application is April 1st.
Conditions of Participation:
– Those aged 30 and under can participate in the poetry and short story categories. (Candidates must not be 31 years old as of 01.01.2024).
• Candidates can be nominated in both categories.
• Poetry and story files suitable for publication as a book should be typed on an A4 Word document with Times New Roman font in 12 pt (story files should be one and a half, poetry files should be single spaced). The book file should be prepared as a single Word document.
• Photograph, CV and contact information should be on the first page of the file, under the file name.
• The book file must be sent to yasarnabinayirgenclikodulleri@varlik.com.tr by April 1, 2024 at the latest, and the subject line of the e-mail must include the category for which the book is being nominated for the award.
• The results will be announced in the July 2024 issue of Varlık Magazine.
• The files deemed worthy of the award will be published as a book by Varlık Publications.
